SupplySide Global Pilots Conference AI Platform to Monetize Session Content Year-Round
July 30th, 2025: AI Is Finally Showing Up at Events. But It’s Siloed—and That’s the Problem

SupplySide Global, which will be held Oct. 27–30 at Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, will pilot Conference AI—a new platform that transforms live event content into structured on-demand assets. The goal is to extend engagement, unlock new revenue streams and maximize return on investment beyond the show floor.
As event organizers face increasing pressure to demonstrate year-round value and justify exhibit costs, AI-powered content repurposing represents a potential new revenue center that could fundamentally reshape how the industry approaches educational programming, said Matthew Matze, Co-Founder of Conference AI.
The Co-Creator tool lets users instantly access and post event highlights.
Session takeaways, stats and summaries filtered by attendee role and event-specific priorities.
Transforming Live Sessions into Long-Tail Content
Every session at SupplySide Global will be recorded, transcribed and enriched with role-specific takeaways, highlights and shareable clips. The technology addresses a challenge many trade-show organizers face: converting real-time presentations into monetizable assets after the event ends.
"So much valuable content happens on stage, but it's hard to repurpose effectively," said Amanda White, CEM, SupplySide's Conference Content Director. "We're exploring how to turn sessions into highlights and deeper takeaways that extend their impact."
Ellis Messian, Co-Founder of Conference AI, noted the platform automates what typically requires hours of manual work, creating new revenue opportunities through content licensing or premium access tiers.

Solving Content Overload for Attendees
Conference AI also addresses a familiar attendee challenge: choosing between networking and educational sessions when multiple tracks run simultaneously. Even with diligent notetaking, much of the material is lost once attendees return to the office.
"You're at events to network but you also need the content," Messian said. "You can't be in two places at once, and your notes are a mess. By the time you get back to the office, you've forgotten half of what you learned. We're making it easy to capture every valuable insight and access it when you need it."
Unlocking AI-Powered Insights
The platform offers automated session recording and transcription, semantic analysis to surface key themes and connections, personalized knowledge bases with tailored recommendations, and cross-event intelligence that grows with each show.
"Every event generates a massive amount of intelligence, but it usually evaporates once the lights go down," said Matze. "Our AI turns that content into structured insights that organizers, sponsors and attendees can reuse throughout the year."
Driving Efficiency and Revenue After the Show
For the SupplySide team, the platform could significantly improve workflow efficiency. "We're looking at how to save time on post-event content while reducing the leakage that often happens when the event ends," said Cassandra Smith, Senior Content Director. "Our objective is to extend value for attendees and explore ways to generate long-tail revenue."
Speakers will receive polished content assets they can use for marketing and other purposes, while sponsors gain data-driven visibility into which topics resonate with target audiences—potentially making educational content a more measurable sponsorship asset.
What’s next
The pilot reflects a broader shift in the trade show industry: extending value beyond the event floor to serve live attendees and those who engage with content afterward. By collecting and repurposing session content, organizers improve ROI, sponsors gain actionable intelligence, and attendees retain valuable insights long after the event ends.
