TSNN highlights Conference AI as one of the top innovations transforming event tech.

From AI agents to operational resiliency solutions, five event technology companies recently made significant announcements designed to streamline event operations and enhance attendee experiences.

By Lisa Plummer Savas – September 10, 2025 Poised to transform how events are managed, experienced, and monetized, recently unveiled event tech innovations from LASSO, Conference AI, GlobalMeet, Personify, and RainFocus include new acquisitions, AI-powered solutions, and platform integrations designed to address key industry challenges.

Conference AI Introduces AI Agents

Created to address the common problem of missed content due to session conflicts at events, Conference AI has unveiled an AI-powered platform designed to capture and organize insights from live conference sessions in real-time.

Through this new platform, AI agents are deployed to attend, record, transcribe, and analyze spoken content, then organize it into an intuitive platform that provides attendees with summaries, actionable takeaways, and topic highlights while giving sponsors access to intent data directly from stage discussions.

“Attendees come to network and learn,” said Conference AI Co-Founder Ellis Messian. “Companies want to understand what their audience, competitors, and industry are saying—clearly and in an actionable way. We make sure nothing gets lost.”

Using advanced AI technologies including large language models, natural language processing, semantic analysis, and knowledge graphs to identify key topics and trends, the system also builds a connected view of industry trends, speakers, and ideas as more events use the platform.

According to Conference AI officials, the solution serves three key stakeholders: attendees gain access to insights from missed sessions; sponsors receive data-driven intelligence about companies and competitors; and organizers unlock new revenue streams through premium insights packages offered as add-ons.

“Security and ethical AI use are core to everything we’ve built,” said Matthew Matze, Conference AI co-founder and CTO, who emphasized the platform’s built-in security and strict data controls.

Conference AI made its official debut in May at the 2025 Marketplace Risk Management Conference in San Francisco, where it successfully partnered with the event to enable it to become the first to transform live sessions into a centralized, AI-powered insights hub.

“We’ve always focused on delivering value beyond the in-person event,” said Max Pinnau, head of operations at Marketplace Risk. “Partnering with Conference AI keeps us at the cutting edge of conference technology. We [were] proud to be the first major event offering this level of intelligence and value to our attendees and sponsors.”

Personify Launches Updated A2Z Events Mobile App

Personify, Inc. has unveiled a reimagined mobile app as part of its A2Z Events product suite that offers AI-powered matchmaking, real-time messaging, and appointment scheduling within a customizable, event brand-forward interface.

“Our new mobile matchmaking solution improves how attendees and exhibitors connect at events,” said Personify Senior Vice President of Product Jonathan Damrich. “We’re helping to foster connections and conversations through personalized recommendations and messaging technology, allowing them to make the most of every moment they have onsite.”

GlobalMeet Unveils Communications and Operational Resiliency Solution

Virtual and hybrid event technology provider GlobalMeet introduced CORE (Communications and Operational Resiliency), a new solution designed to maintain business communications during cloud outages, cybersecurity incidents, video platform degradation, or other communications disruptions.

“As organizations are increasingly rethinking and reshaping their crisis communication plans to better align with the demands of geographically dispersed teams, GlobalMeet is making it easier…,” said GlobalMeet CMO Trent Waterhouse.

RainFocus Adds Adobe Integration to Automate Event Management

Event marketing platform provider RainFocus has unveiled a new integration with Adobe Workfront Fusion that connects Workfront directly to the RainFocus platform to automate and simplify event setup processes.

“Organizations are increasingly investing in micro-events to deliver highly personalized experiences that strengthen their customer relationships,” said JR Sherman, CEO of RainFocus.

LASSO Acquires Shoflo

Through its recent acquisition of run-of-show (ROS) and teleprompter management software provider Shoflo, live events and entertainment industry operating system LASSO now offers an expanded, all-in-one event management solution.

“Shoflo’s industry-leading software and large, loyal customer base make it the perfect fit for our platform,” said Clay Sifford, LASSO founder and CEO.
